Thank you so much! We got everything on time and in great shape. We love our Mercury Kayak! We just wanted to have backup buckles.

Not as smooth as I hoped….

I recently purchase the Martini kayak off a family friend. It’s lightly used and has barely seen water before we purchased it. I noticed the original connection straps had a couple of teeth missing. Considering the design of the kayak I didn’t want to take any chances and I replaced all the straps and buckles just to make sure I was starting with new parts. After 5 paddle sessions the new straps are also now missing teeth. I’m a little skeptical about the life span of these straps and I’m researching snowboard straps and buckle that might be of higher quality and can withstand more of the elements.

Also, I was surprised to get a customs bill from Fedex 3-weeks after the delivery of the spare parts. I thought this was included in the pre-set Canada shipping options.

I have recently ordered replacement straps, then broke the snap buckles and ordered them. The experience was quite great actually, no hassles, easy to order, arrived quickly, and the order was accurate. What more could you want? Not to mention the ease with which these can be replaced.
